Hello, hi, it’s me, the worst blogger of life. So….I know I’ve been super absent for the past few months, but things have literally been the craziest. And I get that everyone says that, but it’s really true! I don’t think I’ve ever been this stressed out, exhausted, and fed up as I have felt this year.
Hello, hi, guten tag. I’m back! Is anyone else having a super crazy spring? It’s so hard to believe that it’s already April 1. Life has been a total roller coaster ride over here, and I feel like I’m just coming up for air, so I thought I would share what I’ve been up to the past few months.
I don’t know about you, but 2017 was a freaking incredible year. To be perfectly honest, the past few years were a little rocky, and each time January rolled around, I found myself anxious about what the next 365 days had in store.
Lights, trees, presents, and stockings. Crowds, shopping bags, credit cards, and bustle. The secret to surviving the holiday season? Rinse and repeat, just hoping you can survive until Christmas Eve.
It’s finally December and, despite the frigid temperatures and bulky jackets, it’s one of my favorite months. There’s just something about the twinkly lights, incredible music, and insanely sweet treats that leave me wishing this month was twice as long as any other.
It’s been such a crazy month for us! Between work, school, and every-day life, there hasn’t been a lot of time for exploring and trying new things.
Sweet dreams are made of these. At some point in life, I’m sure we’ve all had a fantasy about never ending chocolate, rich delicacies, and fabulous treats.
Last week, we decided to take a spontaneous overnight trip to Vienna! Considering that it’s only 1.5 hours away from where we live, we chose to take the train, get a hotel, and explore the city.
We’re finally in Austria! After dreaming about this move for so long, it’s hard to believe we are actually here living the life we always wanted.
In case you didn’t know, my husband and I are moving to Austria at the beginning of September 2017 so he can pursue a master’s degree. While this has been a long time coming, there are a lot of emotions that come into play when I think about this move.
