Yay, spring is here! There is really nothing better than watching the trees turn green and the flowers start to bud. Of course, this also means the weather is warming up, which allows for more opportunities to sit outside in the old town square and enjoy some delicious adult beverages. But along with the rising temperatures comes the chance to switch out my wardrobe and try out some new fashion trends. I… Read More
I have been super MIA on this blog for the past few months, but we have been working hard behind the scenes on a really cool project. In June, we were contacted by a head hunter for HGTV’s popular series, House Hunters International, and we spent a lot of time filling out applications, making interview videos, and providing additional information. Since this show is so selective and competitive, we weren’t sure if… Read More
Things have been super busy around here (what with moving, traveling, and business things), so I thought I would take you along for the week and show you a small glimpse into my life. In this (fairly lengthy) vlog, you will see a business trip to Warsaw, daily life around Krakow, and everything in-between. So, if you want to experience Poland through an expat’s eyes, go ahead and check it out!
Can you believe that Andy and I have been in Europe for almost a year? It’s insane! I didn’t realize how long we have been here until I looked at the calendar and realized it’s the 4th of July. A year ago, we were in LA shipping off our car, meeting with immigration, and wondering what our life would look like in 365 days. Little did I know that I would be… Read More
Welcome back! It’s been a crazy month over on my end. For those who don’t know, Austria denied our residence visa (for no other reason than because they could) so we were forced to retreat and go for plan B…which happened to be Krakow, Poland. However, while we were waiting on the Austrian government to make their decision, Andy and I spent three weeks on a “workcation” between Budapest and Bratislava. If… Read More
A few years ago, we went to Prague as part of our 5 year wedding anniversary trip, and ever since that vacation, I’ve been lusting after Budapest. Everyone I talked to said that if you loved Prague, then you would fall hard for Budapest (and vice versa), and seeing as how Prague was one of my favorite cities to date…I was super anxious to book my trip to Hungary and experience the… Read More
Hello, hi, it’s me, the worst blogger of life. So….I know I’ve been super absent for the past few months, but things have literally been the craziest. And I get that everyone says that, but it’s really true! I don’t think I’ve ever been this stressed out, exhausted, and fed up as I have felt this year.
A few years ago while on vacation in Tuscany, Andy and I decided to go on a nature hike surrounded by incredible waterfalls. However, as nature would have it, we got caught in a massive rainstorm and ended up completely soaked after 2 minutes. After a valiant effort (and a few broken umbrellas) we were forced to turn back, which left me disappointed. I knew that I saw some sort of waterfall… Read More
May is always a super hectic month for us. OK, I know I say that all the time, but it’s really true! For as long as I can remember, May has been packed full of activities (think college graduations, weddings, birthdays, and moving) and this year proves to be no exception. Not only do Andy and I celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary in a few weeks, but May is also the… Read More
If you had one day to live out a fairy tale, where would it be? Think long and hard before answering, because I just might have the answer for you.
